Programs- River Restoration Program
Each year, we hold multiple cleanup events that help to restore the natural river
and watershed of the Blackstone River. The events span from Massachusetts to Rhode
Island. They consist of picking up and hauling away debris from years past as
well as the most recent articles left behind by people of today.
 There
are many ways in which the Friends participate in cleaning up the river and
the most recent and effective method is the utilization of the canoes. We have
12 canoes on hand at all times to tackle on the river where it needs it most.
From Spring through Fall, we collect tons of debris from all ends of river.
